Summary and Background: At the June 14th Town Council Work Session, Town staff presented a general overview of short-term rentals and various strategies that could be considered going forward. The Town of Frisco began regulating short-term rentals on May 1, 2019. At the end of 2019, the Town had issued just love r400 STR licenses. SUMMIT COUNTY COLORADO SHORT TERM RENTALS


Yesterday the Summit County Commissioners approved an ordinance creating a new short-term rental license structure. The Ordinance will go for a final reading and vote on December 16th. If approved, the Moratorium on current permits will expire, and the new Ordinance will take effect.

If you or your clients have questions about the proposal, please reach out to the County STR hotline at 668-4186.
