Summer has finally arrived in beautiful Summit County, and what better time to look at the local real estate market conditions.

For the month of May, the number of real estate sales have gone up in comparison to April as well as that of average sold prices in the area. Inventory is still low but rising due to normal seasonal fluctuations, and interest is high, so we are seeing continued strong under contract activity across the board. Let’s take a closer look:

Colorado BBQ Challenge in Frisco this weekend

It’s barbecue season!

In keeping with a strong 24-year barbecue tradition the annual BBQ Challenge is taking place in Frisco, CO. The event kicks off today with a concert, but no barbecue in sight. Officially the two-day bash (Friday, June 16th and Saturday, June 17th) will feature delicious grub, live music from seven bands, kid’s activities, the 3rd Annual Fire Fighter Cook Off, whiskey tours and a marketplace offering a slew of fun products.
